1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering an account, accessing, or using Pentave ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

2. User Accounts & Roles

Pentave offers user accounts tailored for Teachers and Students:

• Teachers: Responsible for maintaining classroom content, set creation, set pricing, and adhering to academic integrity standards.
• Students: Must use class codes to join study sessions, participate in flashcard sets, and make voluntary set purchases.

3. Digital Set Sales & Platform Fee

Teachers may sell study sets to students in Naira (NGN).

• Free-plan teachers are subject to a standard 10% platform commission on set sales.
• Pentave Pro subscribers keep 100% of their set sales revenue.
• All set purchases by students are credited instantly to the teacher's withdrawable wallet earnings.

4. Payout Requests & Minimum Withdrawal Limit

Withdrawals from a teacher's earned balance to a Nigerian bank account are governed by the following payout rules:

• Minimum Payout Threshold: Teachers must have a minimum account/earned balance of ₦3,000 before submitting a payout request.
• Starter Business Tier Notice: Automatic bank payouts via API are restricted on Paystack Starter business accounts. Payout requests submitted by teachers are held in a pending queue and manually verified and processed by Pentave administrators to the teacher's designated Nigerian bank account.
• Rejections due to invalid bank details will refund the debited amount back to the teacher's wallet balance.

5. Pro Subscriptions & AI Usage

Pentave Pro subscriptions (₦2,999/month) grant access to unlimited classes, zero platform fees, and monthly AI generation quotas. AI usage beyond monthly quotas is billed per generation run directly from the user's wallet balance.

6. Intellectual Property & Content Guidelines

Users retain ownership of source materials uploaded to Pentave. You agree not to upload materials that violate copyright laws, contain offensive language, or promote unauthorized academic dishonesty.
